Dedicated to ~koopabrat who pointed out this scene to me while we were talking about evidence of Bowser/Peach in the games. Thanks for the brain goo, Vicki!
Anyway, this is the scene from Super Paper Mario after Bowser fights O'Chunks, and the ceiling starts to collapse/ Haveing been defeated O'Chunks decides to help the heros by holding the ceiling up for them so they can escape, Bowser chooses to do the same thing (more specifically so Peach can escape). While everyone else goes without question, Peach pauses for a second and looks back.

I'm pretty sure at least part of this scene was just Bowser showing off, but still...Even after he's been fighting he still has the will power to help hold up the ceiling so she can get out. There's something sweet about that. I bet just the fact that she looks back gives him just a little bit more strength.

awww i seen the clip and i think its very sweet the way she looks back at him. Bowser did it to protect her, he even yelled at Mario to get the princess into the next room when he was holding up the ceiling.
