Eliezer is a Holy Man, but a terrible priest and has accepted his own damnation. He does truly believe in his faith and on occasion does actually do things to prove it, but more often he dips a little too much into his ceremonial wine and uses the mystic powder for non-religious purposes. He wants to help people, but had found himself in a position that does more harm than good, and does his best to try and make the best out of his situation

Eliezer claims to have no abilities of his own, only that which he borrows from his Lord, such as healing spells, shadow manipulation and some offensive magic

Physical Appearance:

Tall and thin, with broad shoulders, high cheekbones and carefully maintain Van Dyke beard. His yellow eyes glow in the dark, but in the light are normal. Underneath his hood is a mess of curly black hair with a few grey strands. Eliezer is thin, mostly due to frequent religious fasting, but also has a natural slim build.

His robes are the same as any priest in his order, and change color with the nature of the man who wears it. The fact that his is black discourages many from approaching him, though no one has yet bothered to ask what the black robes mean.

Background: 

Eliezer was born in the same provenience Nora was kidnapped from. His father left his mother before he was born and she died while he was still young, orphaning him at an early age. When he was six, he was caught stealing a pie from the window of a church, instead of handing him over to the authorities, the father priest, Palidor took the boy in, sensing his potential as cleric.

Several years later Father Palidor’s robes turned Gold, promoting him to head of the church, and gave Eliezer his robes at the age of 19, making him the youngest priest in the history of their order. At 23, Eliezer was sent on a holy mission to the capital to bring the word of their faith back into the royal family, a move that was highly criticized by other priests, but Palidor believed Eliezer was up to the challenge.

However, upon arriving at the capital, Eliezer was pulled into the mass power struggle of the political parties and had to sacrifice a lot of virtues just to keep up with the noble families. He was manipulated into being an accomplice to a political murder, underhand dealings, lying to get money for the church and one night even found himself being seduced by the queen herself.

He quickly turned to drinking his ceremonial wine to drown his sorrows. Queen Arabella gave birth to a rotten prince, and Eliezer was blackmailed into being his adviser. The prince grew to be as much of an abuser as his mother, and often got Eliezer to ‘forgive’ his sins by promising to pay unimaginable charities to the poor. 

After hearing of what Eliezer was up to in the capital, Father Palidor cut off any official connection to him, but still sends letters and couriers occasionally. Palidor still has faith in him, but very much disapproves of his way of handling things and Eliezer refuses to share some details with him, which makes the letter and couriers come less and less each year.
