Storm the Sorrow

Description

Along the way I find myself
To be confined within me
My place where all the others mind to interfere

To press the meaning of it all
To overcome my limits
And dance away from any void and empty tasks

The storm is wild
The storm is high
I can’t survive the storm

Believe yourselves and look away
From all the thrive within you
Leave all your worries at the door
And drift away

I’ve tried to appear into the core
But could not storm the sorrow
My hollow heart has bled me dry, left me to stray

Another time
Without a chance
Condemned me wrong
Send me to heaven

Intertwine the lines
And swim beneath the dark
Realize the pain we’re living
Dreamer as it need reweaving

In the memories of the deep enough to know
Centuries of dreams unending
Another way of you led tears when someone had betrayed

No time to ever go to waste
It’s not that complicated
You’re free to live your life at ease
No more restrain

No heat for shadows on your way
That try to steal your laughter
Your lights will drive them all away
Be confident

Will i refrain
Can i repent
Will you be there
Your eyes have paced
Where i’m alone in ire

Intertwine the lines
And swim beneath the dark
Realize the pain we’re living
Dreamer as it need reweaving

In the memories of the deep enough to know
Centuries of dreams unending
Another way of you led tears when someone had betrayed

Storm the Sorrow~ Epica [link]

After I finished [link] I was overcome with the undying urge to draw my friend ~Evanescence412's OC Chalice, because I love them both! -Hugs both Kylie and Chalice-

I don't know every little detail about Chalice and her story, but what I do know, I love and "Storm the Sorrow" by Epica makes me think of her.

As for the picture itself, well, I don't feel right telling you exactly what happens since Chalice isn't my character, but something horrible happened to Chalice, and this picture takes place just after it, when she's feeling vulnerable and alone, plagued by demons she can't face.

Like Narcissa's Birth, this is Part of my "I-will-only-draw-awesome-things-in-this-sketchbook" vow, and surprisingly part of the "Came-out-better-then-I thought it would" collection.

I thought it would be cool to experiment a little with this, so I inked Chalice in blue, hoping to make it look colder, I also put her in cool, icy colors to make her look more alone. The shapes were smudged on using granite that my high school art teacher gave me.

I hope you like it Kylie, because that granite turned my hand black XD

I love you!

:iconlegaspplz:... :iconrainbowdashsquealplz:...:iconfluttershyyayplz: These are my reactions upon seeing this! It took a lot not to scream with joy, because my uncle and mom were in the other room next to me. :XD:

This is absolutely amazing! I adore the clothes you picked out for Chalice; it's totally an outfit Discord would have picked out for her and I really am drooling over that choker, right now. I love how you drew the scars on Chalice's body and you really captured her vulnerable expression and she looks almost terrified. It makes my heart ache for her. :tears: I really love how you made Chalice's hair color look multidimensional and not flatly colored. I also really love the background with all the 'Monsters' reaching out and trying to latch onto her/sink their claws in to her, etc. Surprisingly, that song is actually pretty fitting for Chalice after that event that left her scarred.

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to draw this for me! You have no idea how surprised I was! I absolutely adore this! If I could, I would fav this like a 1,000,000,000 x or more!

I don't believe I told you too much about what happened to Chalice, so would you like me to tell you in a note?
