Ruth, Daughter of Enyo

This is my OC for the Olympian RPG [link] Ruth Ondrea. Right now she still thinks she's mortal, but I'm getting close to the 500 Drachmas needed to upgrade her to demigod so I can reveal, as the title implies, that she's the daughter of Enyo, Goddess of destructive war.

History: Ruth was born in New York City. Her father was a pianist and she never knew her mother. Her father raised her on his own, taught her to love the piano and even gave her a few lessons before his death when she was six years old. After his death, she was put into foster care, though she was passed through a number of homes, with a variety of families, none of she belonged with or liked. She was playfully destructive as a child, which most of the families frowned upon and reprimanded her for, causing her to grow short-tempered, lonely, and eventually caused her to run away when she was fourteen.

For the last three years, she's lived on the streets, scrounging for money and food, occasionally dumpster diving for things to pawn off for money. She's learned how to survive, taught herself to fight with both her bare hands and a switchblade to protect herself. She stays on the move, never giving herself time to make friends before she moves on, and has gotten so used to being on her own that she doesn't realize how lonely she is.Her only companion is a stray white kitten she calls "Casper", she suspects there is something usual about him.

While living on the streets, Ruth has noticed several strange things, mostly an unnatural cold and people that don't seem quite right and creatures she knows can't possibly exist.

Appearance: Ruth has short cropped dark brown hair that barely hangs past her ears, the right side of which has been dyed black. Her eyes are blue, and her skin is pale. She's thin, but strong. She has pierced ears, but only wears stud earrings, finding dangling to be a liability during a fight (same reason why she wears her hair short). She doesn't wear any other jewelery.

For clothing she prefers light, tight-fitting clothes, and her casual wear is a black tanktop and denim capris, with a pair of worn combat boots.

Personality: Ruth is solitary, rarely working in groups of more than three. She has trust issues and a bitter sense of sarcastic humor. Ruth also has anger problems, stemmed from being passed from foster home to foster home. On the occasion that she hangs out with other people, she's usually the odd one out, still keeping mostly to herself, but will laugh if she happens to find something funny.

Living on the streets, she doesn't get much of a chance to enjoy herself, but sometimes she'll stop at a library or bookstore to read for some time. Her favorite genre is historical fantasy. She's also been known to wander into a music store to play at the piano, usually taking the chance to play a piece that her father once wrote for her, called “Ruth's Lullaby.”

In the RP: So far Ruth has only met Jacob, and is on her way to learning she's a demigod, she doesn't trust Jacob at the moment, but my plan is for her to grow to, and eventually develop a crush on him (I won't push for a romance between the, but if Jacob want to, I wouldn't object). She doesn't fit in at the camp, even when her mother is revealed. Enyo isn't one of the 12 Olympians so she doesn't have a cabin, Ruth doesn't like the crowds in the Hermes cabin and doesn't get along with her cousins in the Ares cabin.

I plan on talking to Erin to have her try to recruit Ruth to Gaea's side of the war, but depending on how everything goes at Camp Halfblood she may or may not decline, personally I sort of leaning toward joining Gaea, but again, it just depends on how things go.
